Modified vending machine, wall and doorway. View of gallery entryway. This is an image of the “new” entrance to the exhibition space. An additional wall is constructed at the entrance of the exhibit. Visitors pass through the gray utility door in order to see the other exhibits. Installed at Las Cienegas Projects in Los Angeles.

Modified vending machine, wall and doorway. This is an image of the other side of the wall. After the visitors step through the gray utility door, they realize that the doorway is actually a coke machine. The coke machine also serves as the exit. Installed at Las Cienegas Projects in Los Angeles.

Modified vending machine, wall and doorway. This is an image of the coke machine when the door is closed. The piece is made of an actual coke machine that is hollowed out. The wall is wired for electricity that powers the backlit signage of the vending machine. The coke machine is physically attached to the doorjamb and floor. Installed at Las Cienegas Projects in Los Angeles.
